Didn’t get enough? We can offer the “next step”. Find out what it takes to become a “racer” not just a driver in the NASCAR® short track series at one of the finest short tracks in the nation.

One Day Basic Short Track Program
Classroom instruction, pit road safety and general race engineering and car setup. Next we will walk the track with our experienced instructors who will describe the absolute best method for navigating the track. Students will learn to adjust driving skills utilizing visual alignment. Next, students drive the Jennerstown pace car with an instructor to better understand the preferred driving line. After the provided lunch, students will drive the two seat race car to become better acquainted with the vehicle and track. Lastly, the students will practice their driving skills alone, under the supervision of the instructors.

Two Day Competitor Course
DAY ONE- Same as Basic Program

NIGHT OF DAY 1- Students learn race maneuvers, such as passing, side by side traffic, and nose to tail racing, all designed to simulate real race conditions.

DAY TWO- Students continue maneuvers, such as drafting, and other skills learned in the preceding classes.

Ride and Drive Experience Package Description

The Class:

• 45 minutes of class instruction where you will receive technical instruction on the race car, racing line, braking techniques, and anatomy of racing.
• Ride with the instructor for several laps in the Speedway Pace car as he shows you how to navigate around the race track.
• Pilot the NASCAR® stock car yourself around on of the finest ½ mile tracks in the nation.
• Lastly we put an exclamation on your day when you ride along for a 2 lap qualifying run with the FastDog instructor for a real qualifying run.

We Provide:

• Race suit
• Racing helmet
• Racing hood

You Need to Bring:

• Driver’s license
• Gift Certificate
• Wear casual clothes (jeans, sneakers, and a tee shirt are recommended)
• Do Not wear open toe shoes or sandals, or work boots.

Qualification / Restrictions

• All drivers must be 18 years of age or older, with a valid driver’s license to participate in the driving school.
• Participants in the ride along program must be at least 12 years of age.
• Participants must weight no more that 300 pounds or taller than 6’ 4”.

Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellation requests must be made in writing, and received before the scheduled date of the class. A follow up phone call is recommended to the FastDog office at 412-580-9183.
• A $20 administrative fee will be assessed on ALL cancellations.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days shall forfeit at $50 fee.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days shall forfeit a $100 fee.
• NO SHOWS forfeit the entire package cost.
• In the event you are running late for a class please contact the FastDog scheduling office 412-580-9183. The FastDog instructors feel that you have missed a sufficient amount of the class to be able to operate safely; we reserve the right to consider this a “NO SHOW”.

Refunds / Transfers

• NO REFUNDS, but the certificate may be transferred to another individual within 12 months from the date of issue for a transfer fee of $25.00. Special circumstances will be considered but are not guaranteed.
• All certificates are valid for only one year from the date of issue.
